Blackberry media manager not working problem and fix. my friend’s Blackberry storm media manager disabled and not connected. When she click on the media manager picture it says “Media Manager is only supported by using a USB connection. To run Media Manager please connect your device to your computer by using a USB cable.” and it also says blackberry desktop manager is disabled. then she try this way to solve the problem. firstly, In the Desktop Manager, go to Options, Connection options, and make sure it is set to USB. if it can’t resolve problem. you should uninstall the Desktop Manager that you currently have on your system. Then completely remove all Blackberry files on your computer. go to the Program Files on your root directory and delete Research In Motion & Roxio directories. In the hidden Program Data directory folder delete Roxio. Sometimes with an uninstall everything isn’t removed. You may have to remove blackberry files from your registry as well. then Delete the Research In Motion directory on your root directory. and delete temp files and empty Recycle Bin . now you can reboot your computer and install the latest BlackBerry destop manager software, it will work.
