Blackberry Storm touch screen not responding for humidity issue
Blackberry Storm touch screen not responding for humidity issue. When I exposed my Blackberry Storm to a humidity environment, my Blackberry Storm touch screen would intermidently be unresponsive. I would have to do a battery pull to fix it. This would happen multiple times a day. sometimes BlackBerry Storm will show me touching a portion of the screen that I am not actually touching. Since the screen is conductive and detects this when you touch it, a high ammount of moisture will interfere with it being able to detect when you are touching it. It seems that my BlackBerry Storm touch screen isn’t sealed all the way, so the moisture is getting underneath the screen. I have found that if I wipe off the Blackberry Storm screen with a dry cloth, the screen will once again become responsive and correct. I would recommend trying this the next time it does this. Does your Blackberry Storm touch screen have the same issue for for humidity?
