How to change  BlackBerry  8900 Curve  ringtones  from the default one. when you customize your BlackBerry  8900, Press the BlackBerry key >  Scroll to Media > Ring Tones >  All Ring Tones > select the ringtone you want, press the BlackBerry key >  to Set As Ring Tone .

If you want different ringtones for different people then you’re gonna need to go to your address book, highlight the person who’s ringtone you want to change, hit the blackberry button, and near the bottom of the drop down list will be an option for something like “Set custom phone tune”.
