how to change ringtone length on BlackBerry Bold 9000/9700 for incoming calls. if your BlackBerry Bold rings for few seconds and then goes to voice mail. it will be boring for you to receive calls. you should change your standard call settings. usually the ringtone length was set up by your service provider. The easiest way is to call your service provider and request a longer “time to voice mail picks up”. The default is 15 seconds, and you can request up to 30 seconds.

or if you are t-mobile BlackBerry Bold users, you can try to change the settings by yourself to make it ring for longer. follow the way to lengthen the ringing up to 30 seconds. First, find your VoiceMail number by going to Call Log > Menu > Options > Voice Mail This will show your VM (voice mail) , then go to your BlackBerry Bold dialer and dial **61*[VM]**[sec]#send , with [VM] replaced by your voice mail, and [sec] replaced by the number of seconds you want for your ringing, in 5 second increments (Where the number of seconds equals 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30). Greater numbers indicate a longer delay.
