how to delete BlackBerry bookmarks. Some BlackBerry default browser bookmarks are hard to delete. But you can remove the new BlackBerry bookmarks folders you created for Curve, pearl, bold etc.

My bookmarks are shown under “Blackberry Bookmarks” at the bottom of the list. I have not found any way to delete the default bookmarks.then I ask my friend (who had used different BB devices) , he said that the default bookmarks are hard written into the ROM and CANNOT be removed at all.

You can only delete folders and bookmarks that you created. You can not delete the folders or bookmarks that are on the device out of the box. you can try to open BlackBerry Desktop Manager, connect BB, go to backup/restore > click advanced, in the pane on the right highlight , Browser Bookmarks and press clear.

This will remove ALL bookmarks. Now on your BlackBerry open the browser and add back the bookmarks you want.
