How to wipe out Blackberry 8830,8800.  if you want to wipe out all personal data and settings on Blackberry 8830 and 8800.   you can go to Options > Security Options > General Settings > Click the trackball on the Password field > select wipe handheld from the menu.  these options will “wipe” the Blackberry 8830 device to factory settings, but it will NOT remove the OS. The phone will stay activated with your service provider, but it will no longer be activated on the BES.
