BlackBerry jad files is only for OTA download, Since these are OTA install files that is still the best and easiest way to install. if you download zip files( .jad files) on your pc, you can’t use BlackBerry desktop manager to install it. the Desktop Manger Application Loader only allows .alx and .ali files to be installed. To install a .jad fille on BlackBerry Storm or Bold, copy the .jad file to your Media Card or SD card > then navigate to it from the BlackBerry > Open up your media icon on BlackBerry > Click menu button > Click explore > Find your .jad file on media card> Click the .jad file > it will install directly. you can also install .jar files on your BlackBerry phones

whenever I try to copy or directly add a jad file to my blackberry tour media card it says ‘unable to store to this location’ . Any ideas? Help!
