how to reset BlackBerry to factory default settings. simple way to delete all data on your BlackBerry device is to reset BlackBerry to factory default,you can use it on your BlackBerry Pearl ,curve, bold, storm etc. Before reset your BlakcBerry to factory fault, you had better backup your contacts, it will delete any themes, programs, etc that you’ve installed. then from your BlackBerry device, Go to Options >  Security Options > General Settings > press Menu  >  Wipe Handheld > Enter password (”Blackberry” or your business-assigned security password) .  this will remove everything you’ve put on the BlackBerry, except for OS upgrades. If you’ve upgraded the OS, you’ll have to use JL_Cmder to wipe that, then reinstall an OS on BB device. If you haven’t installed a newer OS, and you’d know it if you did it, then the Wipe is fine.
