unlock blackberry 8930 for Verizon, Sprint, Nextel network
you can unlock blackberry 8930 for Verizon, Sprint, Nextel network.these service providers useCDMA networks.and you can unlock blackberry 8900 for tmobile,at&t network. Cingular, AT&T, T-Mobile, Rogers Wireless and many other Global GSM Provider worldwide operate on a GSM network.blackberry Curve 8930 is a CDMA phone, but blackberry 8900 curve is a GSM phone.
a CDMA phone can really only be used on other CDMA networks. When a Cell phone is purchased from a service provider, it is locked in such a way that only that provider will be accepted and utilized by the phone. When it is “unlocked”, any provider that uses that network can now use that phone. There is a difference though because some carriers use GSM and some use CDMA.
Verizon, Sprint, Nextel, Cricket and Alltel all operate using CDMA networks, so if the “unlocked” phone was originally on one of those service providers, it will generally only work with them.
Cingular, AT&T, T-Mobile, Rogers Wireless and many other Global GSM Provider worldwide operate on a GSM network, so same as above. GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks (like T-Mobile) will accept any unlocked phone that can use one of that network’s SIM cards. Pop a SIM out of one T-Mobile phone, put it in any other unlocked GSM phone, and it will at least make calls on T-Mobile.
